Посмотрел фильм, о котором в последнее время так много говорят. Хотя и не поклонник индийского кино, но как поклоннику этой игры, стало интересно.
Собственно, сюжет таков. 18-летний Джамиль решил стать участником игры «Кто хочет стать миллионером?», чтобы его возлюбленная, с которой он не мог быть в этот момент, увидела его по телевизору. Так уж сложилось, что все вопросы, которые ему задавали (ну, или почти все) были как-то связаны с его нелёгкой жизнью. Ответив на 14й вопрос, раздаётся финальная сирена, ознаменующая собой окончание программы. В этот момент счастливчика арестовывают и увозят в полицию (или как оно там в Индии называется), жестоко пытают, допрашивают, подозревая его в жульничестве. Финал фильма: игрока на следующий день привозят в студию для доигрывания (к этому моменту за развитием событий следит уже вся страна, искренне переживая и болея за игрока). На последнем вопросе за 20 миллионов рупий игрок использует подсказку «звонок другу», трубку снимает та самая, ради которой он и оказался в студии. Это если вкратце. Кстати, ведущего индийской версии игры озвучивает Дмитрий Дибров.
Дальше пойдёт критика. Если вы ещё не смотрели фильм и не хотите знать подробности до просмотра, лучше и не читайте:)
Первый вопрос в игре был связан с именем Амитаба Бачана – и не случайно. Амитаб был первым ведущим индийской версии игры «Кто хочет стать миллионером?» («Caun banega crorepati?»). Именно при нём игра в Индии стала невероятно популярной! Ведь чтобы рядовому индийцу заработать хотя бы миллион рупий (а при Бачане разыгрывалось 10), по приблизительным подсчётам, ему нужно было бы работать 1000 лет! Вот фрагменты игры (в самом конце можно увидеть и нынешнего ведущего игры, который призывает «Please, please don’t go away!»):
Ну, и в жизни главного киношного героя был момент, когда мегапопулярный Амитаб на собственном вертолёте прилетел в его бедный район, и тот взял у него афтограф, который его брат в последствии выгодно продал (ужас, кто б у нас стал этим заниматься?). Так вот, Бачан заявил, что фильм – говно, ему не понравилось. Особенно ведущий. И в этом я с ним согласен.
Индия есть Индия, по фильму шоу «Кто хочет стать миллионером?» идёт в прямом эфире. Чушь. Сам был на съёмках нашей игры и знаю, что если бы был прямой эфир, был бы просто пипец. Раньше интересовался историей этой игры и знаю, что было два прямоэфирных выпуска: в Австралии и на родине шоу, в Великобритании. В британской версии интерес представляла только подсказка «Ask the nation», используемая в том выпуске.
Ведущий (забыл уже, как его в фильме звали) настроен против игрока: довольно грубо с ним общается, унижает (зал в ответ только хохочет), даёт анти-подсказки. После завершения первой программы, в которой участник зарабатывает 10 миллионов, сам ведёт его к выходу, где его уже поджидают местные менты. Был ещё момент, когда во время перерыва оба находятся в сортире и общаются (и это – прямой эфир?), в этот момент ведущий пытается дать игроку неверную подсказку, на что тот не ведётся. В общем, мерзкий тип. На месте Дмитрия Диброва, я бы не стал озвучивать такого персонажа.
Во время пыток главнюк-полицай заявляет, что в игре принимали участие всякие учёные, да и просто люди из более приличных семей – больше 16 тысяч никто не выигрывал. Чушь. Смотрел выпуски игры и знаю, что даже дети выигрывали по 10 миллионов. 16 тысяч – это примерно 7й вопрос в индийской игре (и то, насколько помню, такой суммы там не было. Ну да ладно, кино ж снимали британцы).
Последний вопрос на 20 миллионов рупий был, как я понимаю, тоже из жизни главного героя, но тот заявил, что не знает и ответил наугад. Вопрос, не знаю как для индийского зрителя, но у нас поставили бы в разряд смешных.
В общем, рад, что обошлось без традиционных песен и плясок (судя по отзывам о болливудской продукции) – уже радует. Сюжет в любом случае, достаточно интересен. Хочется надеяться, что хотя бы, благодаря фильму, интерес к игре «Кто хочет стать миллионером?» вновь проснётся.
Согласен, кино аццтой:) Посмотреть можно не больше раза. И за что ему только «Лучший фильм года» дали?

насчёт 16,000 – речь же идёт не о реальной игре, а вымышленной версии.
